We would like to offer a special Thank you to the Corley Ranch in Gardnerville, NV., for letting us come to their beautiful ranch twice this summer and offer two good races to the folks in the Nevada area. John & Joni Raper together with their parents John & Paula Corey are gracious hosts, we thank them for their support. We cannot wait to go back next summer. Congratulations to all that did well at these events.
Our November WPRA Co-Sanction and Permit finals race in Tulare is coming along nicely. We will have over $8000 added this year to all classes in cash and awards. We will be offering something new kicking off the Saturday morning race. There will be a “Sweepstakes” Race sponsored by Wrangler. This will have $500 added plus a Jerri Mann saddle up for grabs. One run, straight payout for this race. You have the option of rolling your time into the open if you participate in this race. Our flyer is loaded on our site, if you have any questions in regard to the open races or the sweepstakes please contact us. All of our races are scheduled on our site as well with New Year’s following the November race. We will offer another Sweepstakes New Year’s eve followed by an open $1000 added race on Friday night. Saturday and Sunday will be Open Jackpots.
We are offering for the first time our own C Bar T Finale’s this year. Our first one is in Prineville, OR. October 9-10. Our CA. finale will be March 25-27. These very well could be the largest day race on the West Coast. These races are offered as a “buy in” only. The concept is simple! The buy in costs the rider $75, the buy in is only on the rider for the first 300 people who buy in. After that the buy in increases and you will have a fee per horse. 100% of this buy in will go directly back to the riders in the pot. If we get 300 people to buy in the pot will sit at $22,500 added money. There is an entry fee to run at this race of $75 per horse, you can run as many horses as you wish. We want to establish a big money race where you do not have to qualify, be on the road for 4-5 days, or keep track of points. All rules are on our website with the buy in application for both finale’s. We will offer a jackpot on Sunday following the finale and there will be a two run average for the weekend. If you have any questions after reading the rules, please call or email us directly. These races are WPRA approved. Both of these finale’s will be annual events. They will have very nice awards for the average.
